BackReset shares personal experience and general educational information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or an individual exercise programme.
Personal experience
The BackReset principles describe what the founder learned and what has helped him manage his own back. They are not a claim that the same approach will be appropriate or effective for everyone.
Descriptions of symptoms, injuries, causes, recovery, movement, training, or pain are personal observations unless a source is expressly identified. They should not be treated as a diagnosis or a substitute for an assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.
Speak to a qualified professional
Back pain can have different causes and may require individual assessment. Speak to a doctor, physiotherapist, pharmacist, or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional if you have questions about symptoms, medication, exercise, treatment, or whether information on this site is suitable for you.
Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read in BackReset content. If an activity increases your pain or causes new symptoms, stop and seek appropriate advice.
Urgent and emergency symptoms
Seek urgent medical help if your back pain is severe and begins suddenly, is getting worse quickly, or you feel generally unwell. Call 999 or go to A&E if back pain follows a serious accident, is accompanied by chest pain, or occurs with symptoms including numbness around the genitals or anus, bladder or bowel changes, or pain, tingling, weakness, or numbness in both legs.
This is not a complete symptom checker. Read the current NHS back-pain guidance or contact NHS 111 when you need urgent advice.
No professional relationship or guarantee
Using this website, downloading a guide, or receiving an email does not create a doctor–patient, clinician–patient, or other professional relationship with BackReset.
BackReset does not guarantee any particular outcome, including recovery, prevention of injury, or freedom from pain. Results and responses to movement, training, rest, and treatment vary between individuals.
Accuracy and external links
We aim to keep the site clear and useful, but health knowledge and guidance can change. We do not promise that every item will always be complete, current, or suitable for every circumstance.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience and context. BackReset does not control their content, availability, or privacy practices.
